C. Todd Owen
Todd Owen is a Partner with the firm in the Jacksonville office. He comes with extensive state and federal court litigation experience in the areas of employment, personal injury/wrongful death, premises liability, medical malpractice, municipal liability, and constitutional law claims. Mr. Owen has represented numerous clients at the appellate level before Florida’s First District Court of Appeal and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals through briefing. He has provided day-to-day counsel to public school board clients, including Department of Children and Families (DCF) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance related matters, as well as municipal clients on collective bargaining proceedings before Florida’s Public Employee Relations Commission (PERC).
He is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts as well as in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Owen received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law, a Master of Arts in Modern European History from the University of Virginia, and Bachelor of Arts, also in History, from Florida State University.
When not working, he enjoys all things outdoors in North Florida, reading and travelling. He is proficient in both French and Spanish.
