Nora R. Bailey is an associate in the Tallahassee office and focuses her practice on matters involving the defense of medical malpractice, personal injury, and general negligence cases.

In 2014, Ms. Bailey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stetson University. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor, cum laude, at Florida State University College of Law in 2017, graduating in the top 13% of her class.

While in law school, Ms. Bailey was a member of the Moot Court Team, and was selected as the Best Advocate for her arguments before the Florida Supreme Court in the Final Four competition. She also earned a Book Award in Federal Crimes and was on the Dean’s List throughout her upper-level years, in addition to her position as the Vice President of the Women’s Law Symposium and her volunteer work for The Refuge House and the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society.

Admitted to practice in 2017, Ms. Bailey is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, Tallahassee Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the National Italian-American Bar Association. She has also served as a member of the Lawyers for Literacy Committee and Law-Related Education Committee. Prior to joining Dennis, Jackson, Martin, & Fontela, Ms. Bailey practiced at a large statewide insurance defense firm and specialized in medical malpractice litigation and arbitration. In that role, she also routinely presented on various legal issues to healthcare providers and hospital staff.

Outside of her law practice, Ms. Bailey enjoys baking, reading historical fiction, and spending time with her husband and their two Australian Shepherds.
